Portland and Seattle namely
Nah those shitholes make great cautionary tales, if they show up anywhere else and the mayor and police are soft on them the citizens will vote them out to avoid having those losers take over .

The Clinton connected Dem' lawyers always controlled that investigation and that is why Mueller was chosen. To give the inquiry a veneer of neutrality.
The reality is he was, and always has been, an establishment stooge. (Iraq WMD lie)To think Mueller was held up as the hero of the Republic.
He of unimpeachable character and penetrating insight.
It was all a lie.The goal was to bring down Trump but they couldn't find anything.
So they tried to dirty him up by indicting anyone near him , trying to get them to make shit up. But, mysteriously, Joseph Mifsud, the one who started the whole thing and lied 3 times was left alone. The dossier was not investigated, Fusion GPS was not investigated, the illegal unmaskings were not investigated - at any time Mueller could have applied to expand his investigation into these (as he did when he wanted to go after the son of Michael Flynn). But he didn'tWhen they found nothing on Russia (because it was all a bunch of made up bullshit seeded into the Trump hating media bloodstream to a gullible public by intelligence operatives trying to justify their earlier possibly illegal actions) they turned to obstruction.
Let's have a public raid on Roger Stone complete with armed cops and tip off CNN. Try to get Trump to react. Try to get him to fire Mueller. Didn't work.
And then comes the report. Rather than innocent until proven guilty, let's give the media a hook to run with, this report "doesn't exonerate him". What the fuck does that mean? They are prosecutors. It is not their role to exonerate. As John Ratcliffe, made the point in his questioning of Mueller, never in history has this been done. Never.

Jimmy spat in Alex Jones face, which was slimeball. And Jimmy’s politics aren’t mine. But I like Jimmy, ‘cos he’s one of the few public figures (Tucker Carlson, Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, Roger Stone, etc.) who regularly mentions many of the Iraq wmd hoaxers in intelligence agencies and cable tv propaganda news media and many of the Rooskiegate hoaxers in intelligence agencies and cable tv propaganda news media are the same people.
He posted a vid today that includes a clip of Mueller going full befuddled Grampa Simpson at his hearing last week that I did not see until today, and it is fuckinghilarious.

Jesus. Doesn't get more stark than that.
If Trump wasn't so blunt you'd have to say Dore would probably be a fan by now.

Trump calling Baltimore a rat-infested shithole is triggering liberals (again), and naturally, he’s being accused of being a racist for saying it, even by David Simon, the creator of The Wire, who having produced an amazing tv series about how crime-ridden, degraded & politically corrupt that city is, should know better. The smears and allegations of “racism” lose their power every day now, it’s fast becoming pure meaningless hysteria at this point, as below.

@Salacious-Crumb Just looked at Simon's twitter. What an absolute loon, he seems to be trying to respond individually to everyone pointing out his hypocrisy. Good luck winning that battle.
All in the game, yo.

He and Mark Bowden worked together in their early days . Bowden would agree with your assessment

Reminds me of that alien from the 3rd Hitchhiker's books who has vowed to insult everyone in the universe. I've met a few people from Baltimore and the usual comment was that there are some nice parts but otherwise a shithole. In this case, the goalposts have been moved even further and criticism of Democratic administrations now apparently equates to criticism of black people.

Loony debates on now!
Will they find the sensible centre...or will it be a rush to the extremes again?
So far the minor candidates in the intro seem sane talking about practical solutions to stop Trumps re-election..while the main candidates seem to be more about 'Orange man bad, very very bad!!!'

Oh god this is too entertaining in a car crash in slow motion kind of way..might have to listen later too distracting at work.
I'm working my way through Thomas Sowell's 'Basic Economics' audio book..I hope for his health he isn't watching this madness.

I think he'll cope. You do realise that Trump (like the Dems) is fundamentally against the economic policies that Sowell advocates?

No doubt, big running theme through his book is Politicians ignoring economic realities for short term personal benefit. If the US economy was struggling then sure these big 'feel good' ideas might hold some water, at lest with Trump the economy is going well so he has at least that in his favour when criticised.
