    F*ck you!

Got rid of Tom who scored all of our runs.

64 runs ahead and 6 wickets standing and I have nothing to say about that!

Top order batting this test like they’re still in a Lords ‘hangover’ perhaps.

Heard before the test a theory that CdG would play as the second seamer and to lengthen the batting. Southee did nothing wrong with the ball, but we might have welcomed Colin’s batting at #7 after all...

Southee batting with genuine discipline today. If they can just nudge the lead onto 180-200 by some miracle anything can happen.

195/7 at stumps, early finish due to bad light so an early start tomorrow apparently. Lead of 177 thanks mostly to Watling, Latham, Nicholls and Southee. We're in with a chance now but if we can get a few more runs tomorrow, we're in with a reasonable chance.

Hoping we can scape out a few more runs, and then looking forward to seeing Patel bowl in the fourth innings. Nicely in the balance.

Not known for easy 4th innings batting, I think ground has 99 as it's most successful run chase. Good finish coming up I think

@booboo especially considering Kane has made no contributions!

Somerville and Boult doing the business today. Lead of over 250 now - a good chance here.

Excellent from the Black Caps and nice timing of the lunch break, almost considering loading up both games on different screens.

That could easily be enough - though the pitch doesn't look like it's causing insurmountable problems!

I think we've got enough that this will be a tough chase in any conditions. But looking at how we went it's definitely not an unchasable target.

So while we've been distracted by the Bledisloe, the Sri Lankan openers have snuck along to 52 off 26 overs.

Somerville and Patel seem to have swapped economy rates from the first innings.

And by stumps, they're halfway there - and we're living on a prayer.

At long last! The first breakthrough (an LBW given on review) and the Sri Lanka's need just over 100. Wickets have fallen in clumps in this test, but you'd have to say Sri Lanka are warm favourites still.
