Ashes looking safe in Aussie hands.

Bold call there - and I tend towards that line of thinking...
But I am quietly betting on England taking this Test - which means all-square.

Smith should return in the next test, Labuschagne will probably retain his spot and one of Wade or Head will go. Plus, Warner has some runs under the belt now so you'd back him to start coming good. All-in-all advantage Aus.

BUT: the England (pace) attack is looking sharp. I wouldn't completely be writing them off just yet. They just need a few more guys to get some runs.

Shit gets wickets. Ranga kiwi boi chases an utterly terrible delivery From Pattinson and goes to Warner again.

@Billy-Webb don't think that qualifies as "driving". Terrible waft.

Absolutely extraordinary Morning Session from the Aussie bowlers. On the back foot at Stumps last night, now on the cusp of taking a 2-0 lead and retaining the Urn.

    @TeWaio correct.

Woakes stands to be top scorer here. Prick has a way of making runs.

And Joel Wilson fucks up again. Count to 6 you dick.

So much for my pontificating about Starc's inclusion / exclusion.
If Pattinson, Hazelwood and Cummins are going to keep getting these sorts of results, then I'm afraid Starc isn't going to get a look in.

How do you get a job being a specialist batsman at 7? If this buttler fella was any good ( at test cricket) wouldn't he be at 4?

    23°C at Leeds right now.
25°C predicted for my place tomorrow.
    Summer? 🤔

24 overs in the session (bit slow)
    54 runs
    6 wickets

If you have a true allrounder like Stokes, it makes it possible.

    They don't come around often...
