@Canes4life As a staunch Lions fan CM deserved that game we were rubbish really flat JGB was utterly garbage I was wanting Renata to come on merely to try something different the long passes were hopeless...as a Canes fan I’m very worried.

@Dice Thanks mate am I getting ahead of myself in saying maybe the Canes should sign him on a 1 year deal he looks to have the goods good running game, massive left boot and can tackle for a little guy. We could use him when Rayasi goes.

Good but messy deserved win for the Lions. Converting their possession was hard work. Mixture of strong Counties defence and some cynical play.

Really don't see the issue with the last try. Good call from the ref and laughable to say they should go upstairs to check.

Entertaining game, I even found myself cheering for Wellington at the end because I love a good comeback.

Blackwell reminds me of (an even smaller) Scott Barrett the way he plays. Unfortuntately way too small for higher honors tho.

@SammyC In the article I read yesterday he is now 114kg, is that heavier than SBarrett? The thing I like about our midget lock is he just doesn't stop working. Better than having a 2m+ that does nothing.

Not sure how anyone could think Counties deserved to win that one.. Cynical, ill-disciplined and gave us too much ball.

@hydro11 to be fair the officiating on both sides of the ball was horrible. The amount of times players were taking each other out and getting away with it was laughable.

@Higgins and look at to Owen Franks now? the game is evolving so along with core roles, props need mobility,speed,covering/sweeping like a loose fwd and the way the game is heading the "high intensity/fast pace", you need to keep up and do more then just "scrum". And remember the Lions front row are young Fidow 21, Aumua 21, Numia 20. still boys and still developing. and re them being boys getting paid a mans wages?? mate the game turned professional a long time ago. keep up with the times higgy! they are the most exciting front row in the game right now. Lions/Canes are lucky to have them and i am excited to see them grow and develop. cut them some slack
