Oz two best bats survive until rain. Labuschagne is a class batsman.

    Oz 98/2

Replay of the final day of the last test. Even better watching it again!

@Hooroo Like watching a spastic with tourettes, but somehow he makes it work. Quite compelling viewing.

That's why I like it because he is so unorthodox. It throws everything out the window

Total Innings over 50 in the series so far - 20 from 89 starts (top 7 batsmen only).
Total for Smith and Labuschagne - 8 from 8.

For England's top 7, only Stokes and Burns average above 30, Roy and Buttler are under 10.

Labuschagne is totally the real deal.

After that start, 170 in a rain-interrupted day with our best bat still at the crease is a good result.

But I'm getting sick of saying "after that start", really. Warner needs to learn to shoulder arms properly, or change up his stance to Broad.

"that's the way he plays" "natural game" etc

don't worry, he'll get back to Australia in the summer and hit through the line with impunity, and all will be well. You'll be watching Toyota ads again and celebrating with the rest of the bogans.

It is the angles and decision making that are fucking him - Broad is well inside his head and he's half a second too slow to counter it.

I always wondered what happened to Travis Cloke. Turns out he's bowling 2nd change for England

Another ton for Smith. Has played about 8 or 9 cross bat shots to balls that would otherwise cannon into his pad in front of middle.

Archer being saved for the new ball, but besides a short burst this morning hasn't looked near as good as Broad.

He is just at a completely different level to the rest of the Aussie batsmen right now.
Marnus Labuschagne would be earning lots of praise for his performances - except they pale next to those of Smith.
