Worked from home today so did some good listening.

Fear Innoculum is going to be a massive grower. There is no clear Anema, Jambi, Sober to grab you by the nuts and make you yell FUCK YEAH, but it’s bloody good.

Also listened to Mellon Collie from start to finish. God there is some good songs on there. But there is just far far too much shit. That album should be 50 mins max.

First bit, yep, i think you might be right. It's grown on me, but at the moment it's a background album for me. I am sure it's very clever, and very technical (some of the playing is pretty sick) but i'm busy, i need those FUCK YEAH moments

2nd, i told you! In the main, that album is fucking genius. If you strip it down to 15 songs-ish it's damn near perfect. Double albums rarely work.

Managed to get a vaccine and go to Fleetwood mac, just awesome. They busted out some crowded house and split enz songs too which bought the house down

@jegga I saw them in Brisbane and loved it. Christine McVeigh's vocals not as strong as they once were, but Nicks was on form and Finn did a great job. They all looked like they were enjoying themselves.

@Crazy-Horse yeah , Nicks was great . Agree about McVie too but she didn’t sing much.
Only quibble was Mick Fleetwood, he should shut up as he isn’t really funny or clever . There was about 10 minutes of tedious drum solo too

The rest was superb, nice tribute to Tom Petty at the end , I forgot that he and Nicks worked together a lot and his guitarist is with Fleetwood Mac now . Finn and Nicks singing don’t dream it’s over was very very cool

Talking about Daltrey I just happened to have this come up on a playlist. Good bit of maximum R&B featuring Rog, Wilko and Norman Watt-Roy. Just good old basic R&R

(love those old clips of Moon on a three piece kit)

@Tim I’m not sure why that mix needed to be an hour and a half long. It was obviously a device for sending insomniacs to sleep and would have achieved that aim in the first 60 seconds.
