All about the second half now. Foot must remain firmly on throat. No stupid penalties.

No stupid PKs. That shit will let them back in the game.

England will notice our scrum looks a bit poke.

Defensive maul on the other hand.

Yep it's been really good, you can tell we've put in some work there. It's just a shame Nige is letting them keep it in for so long even though they're going backwards

Well done NZ, no need to get out of 2nd gear. Ireland are handing the game to you....pretty shocking stuff from them.

There goes my prediction of 24-13 earlier. I'll go with 22-13 instead πŸ₯΄

N O is best ref in world. That was a very good reffing performance.

He definitely is. If WR want to come down hard on tackles around the head then the dangerous neck roll on Ardie should be a YC every day of the week though.

Irish quite lucky to have not been playing with 14, or even 13 at times in that half. If that had been the Frenchie ref, and not Ireland but Namibia hate to see how many players they'd have right now...

Yeah but I'm ok with it. So long as he's consistent within the game.

It's the reffing from game to game which is the problem.

I genuinely feel for the Refs

I just hope we don’t ring the changes too early because things get a little disjointed with too many changes too quickly.

And someone tell TJP to just play rugby. If he comes on and tries any hero stuff...

Really surprised by that penalty to o Mahoney. Irish fans tell me they are the cleanest team in earth compared to the dastardly all blacks.

I count three high shots and shoulder charge to a player prone on the ground (let's not even mention last week's red card).

I was super worried Aaron Smith would play like the headless fuck he did against Namibia, but hes been awesome Aaron tonight.

    Welcome back mate.

Cane has really dug in on the defensive end too.

Ardie providing go forward in attack.

What a half that was. Slicing open the famous Irish defense for three first half tries is no mean feat. The dual playmaker is giving us so many points of attack.

But, our pack should take a bow. Unlike recent encounters with the Irish we dominated the collisions from the get go and really had them shell-shocked from early on as our runners close in smashed over the advantage line, followed up by crunching tackles knocking the ball loose. That's the best 40 we've seen from our pack in a long while, hoping they've kept a bit in the tank to close the game out.

And based on this it's now a three horse race for NZ coach once Hansen retires

    Jamie Joseph
