<p>I'm having as much trouble working out the worst option as I am the best one.</p> -
<p>that is interesting isn't it, they know which is the worst one to vote for it, to avoid voting for the best that will supposedly become the NZ flag if they voted it?</p>

<p>I think the number of people willing to sabotage their vote would be minimal and probably only slightly higher than the usual margin of error in polls and the like?</p> -
<p>The RSA are being as stupid and obstinate about this process as they can.</p>

<p>The referendums aren't going to go away and the process is set in place. Why can't they just honour the democratic process that their members 'fought for' and just vote like everyone else.</p> -

They are more subtle so we can create meaning as we see fit<br><br>
But the colors are spot on. Black and white essential with black in a key position by the flag pole<br><br>
And red in the power position with white between red , black and blue. <p>Postal referendum starts today.....any UK-based kiwis received their ballot papers yet? I registered a few months ago and haven't gotten mine yet.<br><br>
4/53 commonwealth countries still have the Union Jack on their flag (NZ, Oz, Fiji, and Tuvalu). Time to knock that down by one I reckon....don't care which alternative wins as they're all vastly better than the anachronistic thing we've currently got, and all have the added bonus of not looking like Australia.</p>

Your link has an expanded list including a lot of British Overseas Territories (BVIs, Anguilla, Pitcairn, Falklands etc) which aren't proper sovereign nations as they all get British passports. Most of those still have the Union Jack in their flags.</p> -

I live in a Rural delivery area of Whangarei and I haven't had my papers yet but my neighbour has.
