@Machpants that's quite the bio.
They should edit that, just too much info.

@Machpants looked much better in the movie than that pic...she had a previous job that I am surprised @jegga wasnt aware of or made us aware of.

Saw Jojo Rabbit last night. Some real good laughs but its a pretty awkward era to make jokes out of, at times it felt a bit scattered between super sadness and then some hilarity, reminded me of 'Boy' in some ways. Waititi as Hitler was hilarious and Sam Rockwell was brilliant.

Yeah, nah. The whole dominatrix thing isn't my scene , if I wanted to hand over money and be insulted I'd still be married to my ex.

4 Stielhandgranate's out of 5 German BowiesIt had its moments but didn't reach the heights of Boy or Wilderpeople for me. I thought Rockwell was great also.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
First 2 hours wasnt really your typical Tarantino film, but set it up perfectly for the big finale!
Stellar cast, put on a great show.

Watched a few movies on return flights to NZ ...
It Chapter One.
Excellent horror film. Pennywise is a cracking character, and despite what others will write, or should I say sell, this was always a part one. Genuinely creepy and scary, with a good story line for each of the characters as well, without being too overdrawn. IF this stuff is your genre, It is a must watch.
4 Clowns out of 5 Lepers.
It Chapter Two.
Lets cut to the chase. This film is 2 hours 50 minutes. It should have been 1 hour 30 mins. There is nothing new on the first film, and it's a completely overblown Hollywood crap fest. It's some dumb fucks idea to try and mesh all the horror genre's (slash, supernatural, suspense, etc) with ridiculous pointless subplots and over reliance on silly suspense moments. It's quite easily, the worst movie I've ever watched. A horror movie which tries to incorporate 6 deep character lines. Just fucking dumb.
0 point out of whatever number you want.
Rambo Last Blood
What it says on the tin. I see it's bugger all on Rotten Tomatoes as it's viewed as too much focus on violence and basically none on the fascinating character that is Rambo. Thats probably fair. Still, I enjoyed it, as it's an easy watch, with a fair level of somewhat predictability
3.5 kills out of 5 angry Mexicans
Gemini Man
I liked this film. Will Smith makes a great action hero in my view and there are silly levels of bullshit in it (although bear in mind I'd just watched Rambo) and if you know nothing about it (like I did) the plot is actually pretty interesting. I'd recommend no reading about this before watching, as I think if you knew what it was about, you'd probably be a bit bored.
3.5 Wills out of 5 Smiths
Hobbs & Shaw
Got very bored and was asleep within 25 minutes. Still better than It Chapter Two though.
1 Hobbs out of 5 Shaws.
Die Hard
I've always been a two is better than one on the die hard series. But I'm not so sure now. Willis & Rickman are both off the scale excellent.
5 Mothers out of 5 Fuckers

Saw the latest Star Wars film last night .
Saw the trailer for cats too, the small screen doesn’t do it justice for sure . Got a few frownings from the mrs for laughing at how incredibly bad the bits I saw were .
What were they thinking ?So that's your "Mrs" preferred pronoun.

What were they thinking ?round these here parts, usually after you say you have seen a film, it is customary to give your thoughts on the film or a brief comical rating...or was the highlight of your trip to the movies, the Cats trailer...
