    Change of strategy.

Eek out another 100 runs in this session. Then roll Aussie for 150 before tea tomorrow. Knock off the 300 required with big centuries to the openers.

The path to victory is clear enough.

Good result on paper but sounds like he spent a series worth of luck in one innings

Basically, one of the not outs was a No Ball when he got caught.

Yeah that fraction of a second advantage the bowler got hurried him into the shot and caused the ball to go to hand rather than over the rope.

Not fair to consider that a chance obviously.

Love Kerry O'Keeffe commentary. He was great on the radio and just as good on TV

Well, the platform was there to fight back on a deadish-looking pitch, but we've capitulated really. Really needed people like Tom Latham, Rossco and BJ to stand up and bat a long time, but they've got in and then got out.

It's a pretty annoying and sub-par effort - in many ways the worst so far, even though it's our highest score - and made with a B team.

That was probably as good as that batting line up is, against that bowling attack.

Yet half the dismissals were self inflicted comedy.

Worst day of the tour yet.

    Quite possibly.

But, Rossco and BJ especially are much better than what they contributed and it was the easiest batting conditions of the series. Another hundred runs and there would be a decent prospect of a draw - and 50 more each from those two wouldn't be too much to ask - along with less soft dismissals from CdG, Wagner and even Henry.

Our batting lineup again have been made to look like flat track bullies without the combined mental approach required to achieve against a top line attack. Is that down to the individuals, preparation or coaching...so disappointing.

It's funny but this sums up the Aussies far more than us. Look at what some of those guys average away from home

Sure but that's cricket. I used to think Taylor was unfairly maligned before Williamson came along. He used to be our best batsman but the rest of our batsmen were so crap we needed more from him. The problem was that Taylor was never good enough to carry the team himself. He was our best batsman but was not as good as we needed him to be, to be competitive.

Taylor could have got more runs but I don't think his innings was too unusual there. BJ's median score when he bats is around 28. So he can rescue you but you cant rely on it.
