I've been WFH for the past two weeks and feeling quite isolated.
The other thing I couldn't help thinking is that in this current climate and with restrictions on crowds, that sort of thing is not able to happen for the foreseeable future... and we are much worse off without it

This post goes out to all the hardworking supermarket workers, who are keeping us stocked up with supplies. Give them a break, and only go to the supermarket if you absolutely have to. Thank you for your service!
Amy's been working at the supermarket for almost eight years now, and although it's not exactly the most glamorous job in the world, the place has been really good to her, and the flexible hours and understanding management have made raising her two kids a lot easier.
For the past few months, Amy has been the overlord of the self-checkout section of the supermarket. Her main tasks are to keep traffic moving smoothly through the area and make sure that customers pay for everything in their bags. She doesn't really care if you say your SweeTango apples are the cheaper Royal Galas; just don't try and pass off an avocado as an unwashed potato, because if you do, there's going to be trouble. Sock it to 'em, Amy!(
