His album Reckless was the first I ever bought on tape ( played it till it fell apart on my first ever Walkman) -

Might have been the same concert, I probably got the year wrong. Was definitely in the super top. Went with a mate, we double dated. Dumb ass went outside because the tent was too hot abs crowded, he was unable to get back in... I didnât complain....

All That Remains vocalist claims Nickelback sound like mid-â90s Metallica
Phil Labonte of All That Remains has compared Nickelback's work to that of Metallica, making it clear he's not criticisng the thrash icons.
Speaking to the Breaking The Ice podcast, Labonte made it clear he wasnât criticising Metallica, but noted that their mid-â90s material has âsonicâ similarities to that of Nickelback.
âI wanna point one thing out about Nickelback that I think a lot of people know but they donât realise they know it. Nickelback records are Metallica Load and Reload sonically,â he began.
âIf you listen to Nickelback records and you listen to Metallica âLoadâ and âReloadâ, almost any of the Nickelback songs could go on Load or Reload, and almost any of the songs on Load or Reload could go on a Nickelback record.

@MN5 I remember this was huge in my first year at Uni, every party you went to had New Order blaring and all the chicks dancing - good times
and back in the day when it was vinyl on a turntable so when it got to the end of the track you would hear the scratch as someone picked up the stylus and moved it back to the start
