these tours are what really make me regret living so far away from everywhere.
If i lived in a Capital City i would go to every one of these shows. But add flights and accommodation. And 2 days of drinking. And the equation is suddenly not quite as worth it
International acts only seem to go to Auckland or Christchurch so I feel your pain. The former destination suits my Scottish heritage as I can use the company car and not have to pay for petrol ( but still get gas money from any passengers ) and it means I have more beer money.

@mariner4life Listening to Garage Inc today.
Best kick the kids out of the room when So What comes on.

Covid-19 strikes again as Iron Maiden's Legacy of the Beast Tour in Australia and New Zealand has now been officially cancelled. The same for the Japanese leg of the tour which followed later this month and other dates in June.
Not surprising and hopefully they reschedule for 2021.

@antipodean no sir, didn't like it, not at all.
One of the fastest and thrashiest Metallica songs makes a poor acoustic cover.
I've had to listen to the original just to get the taste out of my ears

@Virgil smooth Bry... He's the best.
Saw him in 1991, was an amazing concert.
His album Reckless was the first I ever bought on tape ( played it till it fell apart on my first ever Walkman) -

Run To You is the best song on Reckless.

Might have been the same concert, I probably got the year wrong. Was definitely in the super top. Went with a mate, we double dated. Dumb ass went outside because the tent was too hot abs crowded, he was unable to get back in... I didn’t complain....

@mariner4life didn’t mind it myself.
Although I guess for many it was like when Clapton did acoustic Layla
