@JC Fuck, saw them when they were here in Feb. Really good show (the "new" lead singer is an arse - jokes about CWC final had cups thrown at him - and he reacted like some tough guy which he clearly isn't).
Great band and Misex were fantastic too.

Yeah, and he was bloody brilliant too. Steve Balbi, a kind of Johnny Depp lookalike character. Would go and see them again anytime.

And now Deane Sutherland from Satellite Spies has died too, of some shitty skin cancer at 58. I met Deane a long time ago and he was a good guy. It was a real shame he and Mark fell out. SS was a quintessential 80s band. Their sound has dated a bit but I still break it out occasionally. RIP Deane.

I have read some wild stories about what he and fellow deviant Buddy Holly used to get up to.
Rumored that Holly was hung like a donkey and they used to bring groupies backstage just on the premise of showing them the freak show.
