It was but my memories are 20 years out of date. Example: I used to really like a pub called the Bo Peep out Chelsfield way. Lovely pub for a Sunday lunchtime pint and a bite to eat. Revisited it last year and was disappointed. Not awful but not what I remembered.
Best place I’ve been to up that way over the last few years was the British Queen at Locksbottom.

@Catogrande s'funny, we visited BQ earlier this year I think and you made me realise it was very forgettable. Black Horse do much better food than you'd think down Locks way, that'd be my preference (cheap and cheerful).

I hate that they do hot and spicy so rarely. Wicked wings have to suffice but that hot and spicy shit is some of the best fried chicken you can get. A while back that did it with a Nashville sauce as well which was fucking amazing. Should he part of their standard menu.

My local KFC just currently says this...
We’re experiencing incredibly high demand and we’re still running a limited service in restaurants, so sometimes we may not show up as available in your delivery apps. We’re working to get back up to full speed as soon as we can - if we’re not appearing, please do check back again later to get your chicken fix.

The pub conversation continues in this thread:

Haircut yesterday, first since Feb, feel far more human.
At the office today, wearing actual work clothes for the first time in 8 or so weeks. Zips and buttons are foreign
-
@mariner4life I would have an afro if I hadn't had a haircut since Feb, a very thin afro ... were the barbers closed up your way of you just chose not to go?
I still have another month of working from home ... so yay!

How are you? Haven't seen you post for a couple of days and need to check in on you.

@MajorRage Greenidge is my jegga breakfast story and he likes a wee cricket comp we run in Thailand.
And the Gambier is a change of pace for nice family reasons. It's all been a surprising cleansing of the soul being in the Aussie countryside for a bit.Met GG once, Hell of a handshake! And general legend.
