No dentists must have been a tad worrying?
Dentist was brilliant. Talked me thru how to deal with it, arranged prescriptions and kept in touch. Top bloke

That video captures an awful lot and a lot of awful.
What no one seems to be addressing is that the guidance which DomCum falls under is relating to those with suspected Covid symptoms.
I'm pretty confident that 95% of the public haven't gleaned that or read them.
So in fact he WAS operating to different rules to the vast majority.
How many of those bleating have actually had or been suspected of having CV?
If not, what he did really wasn't relevant to them.
All of which, to me, points to a huge breakdown in Tory PR.
Unbelievable, really.

@Crucial he is at the coal face. He’s Boris’ chief advisor and has significant clout esp after being the architect for getting Brexit done.
His wife was ill as was the child. He was on his way to getting ill. He can’t look after both whilst being a key member of govt in unprecedented times (esp when Boris was ill as well).
As Hancock said when he cut down Peston, ‘he didn’t have child care options available’. I suppose he could’ve said ‘sorry I need to take a week off to look after my kid’, but I guess he thought his role in the govt took priority.
I do agree though that the whole incident could’ve been managed better.

Way, way better! Public opinion alone confirms that.
And why bullshit about it? That whole “testing my eyes” crap is an insult to the public intelligence (and that’s saying a lot) -

@MiketheSnow Not likely to be the old and sick in that demographic either.
-
@MiketheSnow If you check the stats you'll find that category includes construction workers, cleaners, etc.. Probably needs a cold towel to draw conclusions.
-
A bit of light-hearted releif.
A story of stupidity, gullibility, Glastonbury Town Council, 5G & Coronavirus......oh and £400 anti-5G USB sticks.
-
@Victor-Meldrew what an absolute rip off. These things do the trick just as well and are available at my local Poundland.

Any bloke that can rock up at No. 10 in a tracksuit without a gold medal around his neck or a Glock 9 in his waistband knows he can do what the fuck he likes
And does.
Durham Police backed down.
End of story.

@MiketheSnow Irony is that Maitlis did Tories a huge favour with her monologue!

That, and the clips of Sky hassling Cummings elderly parents, appeared on my District Councillor friends FB feed yesterday.
He commented they were being shared widely in Conservative social media and they generated genuine anger at what they saw as a media witch-hunt.

The worm has turned BIG in the media here. Itv has some scoop tonight on care homes and the government. Literally nobody gives a fuck.
@Rembrandt is being proven right.

Chasing ratings and not the truth.
So many "scoops" have turned out to be a mix of half-truths, surmise or simply made up stuff presented by crap, shouty "journalists", so maybe people have turned off.

Fascinating comments on the UK media by Labour's Shadow Scottish Secretary.
Pretty much nailed it for me.

Of course we can trust the common sense of the great British public
There were less people on the Chilkoot Pass

@MiketheSnow saw that this morning - Favourite Uk place that.
