On quarantine I have gone from being a dad that's at Call of Duty badly to having an average of 40 kills per round on team deathmatch. I am now better than my son and he hates it. My daughter is only marginally better and than me now. But shes plays all day every day while shes off work and studies.
I've been playing Day of Infamy (which is old so sometimes I'll play practice matches while waiting for a server) which I like because it's not just run and jump and shoot. I've definitely gotten better with constant play.
Gutted I don't have a PC so can't get Civ free.

That's awesome. My twitch skills are too shit for CoD, my KDR hovers around one. Not that I care cos PTFO! So I normally do well and top score in any objective mode. As a Battlefield player and ex Nav, my SA is good, but I'm sadly too unco to get the shots away on target most times

Day of Infamy
I think the major difference is actually that I bought a ps4 pro and its runs COD in 4k on 55inch TV. My eyes are suddenly seeing things they couldn't before.
Haha, I'm playing Day of Infamy on my Macbook 13inch ... if it was a run around game I'd be dead about 3 seconds after the game kicked off.

Picked up C&C and Red Alert remastered. Good times and awesome music are making for quite the nostalgia trip!

Anyone else play microsoft solitaire/freecell while in video meetings or while listening to podcasts?
They recently introduced obnoxious video adverts for other games with the sound on by default. I found that adding the following entries to my HOSTS file blocked them:
