Fetuli Paea signing for the Highlandrs and Ennor's injury may see a move to centre for Leicester Fainga'anuka.
It may also open up a spot in the squad For Isaiah Punivai who should get game time for Canterbury in the Mitre 10 cup.

Would you put them in the best xv?

    I'd go for:
    12 Havili
    13 Goodhue

That means Jordan can have a full season at fullback

Also I still think genuine 2nd fives will make a return soon. Havili has that sort of skillset

@Duluth Yeah that could work. But Leicester F may also force their hand and claim the centre spot .

I think that maybe the option. 12.Havili. 13.Goodhue. but I think Punivai may grab a squad spot

Leicester was given a run at Centre for the South and has been named in the Ta$man squad as a centre maybe he has a long term future there so may get some game time at 13 for the Crusaders.

Would be a good move for Havili's AB ambitions as well. He's behind several players at fullback, but there's not many kicking style second fives around at the moment.

@Kirwan I like the move with Jordan getting proper game time at FB there is a back log of talent on the wing for the Crusaders now Matalae is signed through to 2021.

@Chris Unlucky to not get an ABs call up over Strange imo. Fair to say though that the Crusaders are absolutely stacked in the 2nd row similar to the Blues in the loose forwards with Barrett to come back. I'm assuming that Romano will go around again next year???

Not sure some rumours around Romano may retire from SR

Many around the Crusaders are astounded Dunshea didn't make the AB squad ahead of Vaa'i, and yes, Strange. From a good source.

I wonder if Dunshea's height counted against him. 1.97

@KiwiMurph Maybe, if they picked him ahead of Strange given then Whitelock would be the only guy at 2m+

@KiwiMurph That's not that short is it? Tuipulotu's only 1 cm taller and Scott Barrett is the same height apparently.

It's in that middle range. I'm all for having at least one guy 2m+ in your line-out, although this is less important if you have a tall flanker and/or number 8.

The Lions didn't have a 2m lock against us in 2017.

It seems the Crusaders will fill any positions in their squad from the Crusader Academies in CHCH and Ta$man The Frizell rumour may have just been that a Rumour.

I hope there are decent loosies running around in the system then.
