No kids, any regrets?

Some heartbreaking stories for those of you that can't have kids. Makes me feel guilty for chosing not to! When people ask why I haven't got any, my relpy is usually either "I don't like them" or "you think a child should be raising children?" If they know me well enough the last one shuts them up.
I think my neighbours had fertility treatment, either that, or a freak of nature gave them triplets. They definitely weren't planning on that, but great parents nonetheless. It does work for some I suppose.

@Mokey think of us as all your children... sorry that was meant to make you feel better!...
That pobably didn't work.
I think "I blame the parents" would be the normal cliche, which seems a little unkind as well in this instance. If we were all well behaved Polish chicks it might have worked, but a bunch of grumpy, juvenile middle aged men, not so much.

@Snowy did you watch the series Dexter? He struggled with his family life while doubling as a serial killer!
Yes, seen all of the TB shows and read all of the textbooks. Very, ummm, educational.

@booboo thanks. Endo is terrible. And the worst aspect is, so many women are dismissed when it comes to bad periods. Just 'unlucky' or 'complainers'. I had several doctors shrug, then at last one who was all oh hell no, you are getting referred to a obgyn. Very nice specialist diagnosed me in oh about 20 seconds, surgery 6 weeks later.
I just hate thinking of all the infertile chicks who might have had a different outcome if someone had taken them seriously rather than patting their head and recommending ibuprofen and a wheatie pack. -

Why ?
You're not obligated to and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise can get fucked and mind their own business, people like that are almost as bad as politicial piston wristed gibbons telling you who they think you should vote for.

It just seems unfair that people who want to can't
then you get the ferals that cant stop having kids, and damn well should never have started...but I expect that is a thread all on it's own.

Yeah, there should also be "those who shouldn't" or "shouldn't be allowed" as well.

@Snowy I always remember one time at winz when I was unwell and getting assistance, being in line behind a woman on the dpb who told her (incredibly pissed off) caseworker that she was pregnant again. I think it was like #5 or #6. That old quandary, increasing money to feed/house innocent kids vs rewarding lazy skanky bitch.

Slightly off topic but it's always nice going to WINZ if you ever need motivation or to feel better about yourself. Some years back I had to go through the processes as I had been made redundant and the payout money was starting to dwindle.
Some people are just beyond help.

I was thinking the same thing (having been through that redundancy thing, and thought I'd talk to WINZ about my options)
sure they (people at WINZ) likely deal with some of the real scum of society and it must wear them down, but plenty still need to learn how to deal with people better.

Yep. I had a Vicky Pollard renting a place off me for a while. Five or six kids by the time she left. Never missed a rent payment, though. Thanks WINZ.

The paperwork that myself and the ex wife had to go through was absolutely ridiculous. We had to set aside an entire afternoon just to get things done, not easy with a toddler and newborn.
I have no idea how genuine ferals even get on the DPB, do case managers just look at them, shrug their shoulders and approve their applications ?
But as you allude to, fuck working at WINZ, no wonder there is security at every site just in case feral families don't get more money approved in time when female feral pops out baby number eight.
