    @Catogrande I honestly thought it was a fake to start with, but am glad I'm not a ground attack aircraft or a Chi-Com foot soldier in Korea either way.

    @NTA Very good.
    We had one move in with us a few years ago. Lovely old bugger. Was the neighbour's but they had other cats and because he was old, and they had some younger ones, he lost his place at the top of the tree in spite of being huge (probably cross breed but definitely some Maine Coon). He used to be head cat around the streets apparently. Won all of his fights until towards the end.

    The funniest thing was the way he "moved in". Was like when you find a girlfriend's toothbrush in your bathroom, all very subltle and manipulative. Just spent more and time at ours until it was permanent.

    You could be describing the best cat I ever had. Difference was it was him and a vicious dog when he was a kitten.

    Watching an old film starring Diana Dors and this came up when I googled her...

    "My favourite show business anecdote concerns Diana Dors, the sleazy and vivacious actress, born Mary Diana Fluck in 1931, whose ambition was to have “a big house, a swimming pool and a cream telephone”. She was invited back to Swindon, her home town, to open a fête. The vicar, terrified he’d mispronounce her name, mispronounced her name. “We have with us today Diana Dors, whom many of you here in Swindon will remember as Doris Klunt.”

    Whatever happened to Diana Dors, Swindon’s Marilyn Monroe?
