Tune of Melbourne’s lockdown ‘Get on the beers’ cracks iTunes charts

Artist Mashd N Kutcher’s remix featuring Victorian premier Daniel Andrews has made it into iTunes top 20. The line ‘get on the beers’ has become a symbol of the end of Melbourne’s 111-day lockdown.

@RoninWC At the weekend I was standing on our veranda with the cat sitting beside me. I stepped of and walked a couple of metres and pulled out a weed from the path and when I turned around the cat was still sitting back on the veranda but this time she had a struggling sparrow in her mouth while she made weird Homer Simpson noises. I swear the cat hadn’t moved. The laziest shit in the world by by Christ she can move when she wants.
