@MN5 I have to say...I get it, the read world is f'ed up enough without real crime doco's, although im more likely to watch the amazing race for some mindless "reality" tv
Yeah we're struggling to meet in the middle for shows we both enjoy, not helped by the world situation and very little new material coming out.

I always have my mindless stuff to watch, switch brain off, enjoy.
Currently watching Eastbound and Down & Loudermilk, think ep 3 was brilliant.
"you left your 9 children?"
"well, not really, the twins werent born yet"Caught up on Family Guy and finished S2 of Dead Pixels (Very silly stuff in this)
-
I went through a couple of more adult animated series, by their nature a but more easy to digest
"Final Space" and "Disenchanted" both on Netflix

Finished The Stand - overall, not bad, although last couple of eps went down hill, last ep was a waste and the ending, while not a surprise, I doubt I'll watch S2.
started ok for the genre and then should have finished way earlier..worst couple of episodes to end in a series, better not be a season 2

Loudermilk, actually quite enjoying this, finished season 1, not always laugh out loud, but some very funny moments, addictive alternative comedy

finished S2 of The Expanse
It's still pretty good, if at times a little slow moving. Actually is slow the word i am looking for? There's no shortage of action in each episode. I don't know, it just seemed like it took a long time to not go too far actually.

@bayimports I am just assuming there will be based on how it ended.

I have head from many that this is not a bad show, but it is too slow for me, couldn't get through season 1. I do know what you mean, although plenty of action, just seems to meander to where it wants to go.

Watched 2 eps of Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.
Netflix, 4 eps only.
Pretty intriguing so far, hotel is notorious for crimes taking place there, including one of the rapes and murders of The Nightstalker.
I pretty much knew the story, but thought they did bloody well to stretch it out to 4 eps and make it mostly interesting! Was good to see a lot of humble pie being eaten...

@taniwharugby well don't think I've spoiled anything!

Oh and yeah, after picking up on the obscure Loudermilk, I'm really surprised it hasn't really been widely picked up.
Where did you pick this up?

@bones I'm really enjoying Loudermilk, plenty of LOL moments.
Yeah all the things we want to say but don't...

@mariner4life @bayimports while my memories of early seasons of The Expanse are dusty, I agree it can be a little slow. But I'd watch that whole thing just for the moments where Amos Burton's complete lack of fucks to give comes to the fore. Great character.
