@kirwan hopefully we'll get more of a cohesive tv/movies universe
cant help imagining what the sequels could have been with the marvel approach. rather than jamming everything into three movies, each of the main characters could have had their own into movie, forgetting if Finn was actually a good character or not for a second, it could have actually been really interesting seeing probably development of the character realising he was on the wrong side and trying to escape

Yep, his character was window dressing at best. The story decisions they made undermined the original trilogy and made Vader's sacrifice meaningless. And obviously ruined Luke's character (which left us in the weird position of Hamill publically saying he didn't recognise the character anymore). A giant mess.

@kirwan exactly, another whole movie showing Luke actually turning into what we saw MIGHT have made it understandable
Marvel would have had a Kylo Ren movie and a Luke movie and both would have had flashbacks to "that night" showing what each saw
in hindsight its one of the things that makes the MCU cool, movies introducing a character, and only right at the end do you click how they might connect with the wider story, sometimes only in the post credit scenes

We should start a thread just for Meme's....

I'm not searching the whole thread to see if this is a @booboo
Why did you make me log on to the geek thread?
That's what happens when you give your name to a TSF action.

I’m enjoying the Bad Batch. Decent story lines and the animation is good quality.

I am too. Every one of them has a bit of a cliched “ability” but I’m actually fine with that. None seem particularly OP, after all Fennec dealt with two of them pretty soundly.
One thing about Star Wars is it’s not shy of promoting tough females.

yeah, Mandalorian introduced/reintroduced several "kick arse" feamle characters
I do like the fact their "abilities" a subtle, Hunter doesn't close his eyes and "sense" where people have gone...he's just a good tracker and wrecker is super strong...but still got his arse kicked by Fennec, tech still had to look up how to do something etc
