@machpants I feel like you're struggling to get the right vibe with your giffing there fella.

He’s no chance of winning a fernie with that effort

What about most overly confident yet least appreciated gif-fer?

@yeetyaah Iosefa-Scott didn't go to a traditional rugby school (Melville HS) so wasn't even on the radar until playing club rugby.

@tim A great servant for us over the last 5 seasons and sad to see him go.

Hope to see him running out for Samoa.

Not sure whether it has been posted before, but Cole Forbes (BOP) signed with Glasgow Warriors back in February. He is Scottish-qualified through his grandfather and was named in the Scotland squad for the July Internationals, yesterday.

@higgins Yeah, I posted somewhere on the Fern (can't remember where) that Eves is playing club rugby in Oz. I saw it on his instagram. Could indeed be Randwick.

Departing Hurricanes and All Blacks second five-eighth Ngani Laumape says his decision to leave for France was made easy by New Zealand Rugby offering him a pay cut. “It wasn’t hard [the decision] when I was offered a contract [by NZ Rugby] that was asking me to take less income,” Laumape said. “Once that came into perspective I had to make the best decision for me and my family and my kids.”

@bovidae while I fully understand the stance re family, kids and income and his decision to leave, but he comes across as a whinging twat in the media and makes it hard to like him.

@taniwharugby as I said in the Canes match thread vs the Brumbies, I wish him all the best overseas but I feel like him moaning to the media won't do him any good if he doesn't prosper overseas and wants to come back like his mate Julian.

With Ngani leaving it will be a good chance for the Canes to change up their pattern of thinking when it comes to attack. We've always had big, ball running 12s so hopefully they move away from that and bring more skill into that position. I wouldn't mind Jordie making a shift to 12.

@taniwharugby I'm sure Laumape was just asked a direct question by Geenty and answered honestly so I am not going to criticise him for that. Unless he has done the same on SM?

I'm curious to know the size of the paycut though. Big difference between $10K and $100K, for example.

When you are on the bench behind a 7 playing at 6 and a Japanese player at 8, I don't blame him for seeing the writing on the wall.
