That and “Walk this Way” are about Aerosmith’s only decent songs in my opinion. I’m really not a fan.

I’m reading the book by rock journo Mick Wall on Black Sabbath and YouTubing each song to listen as I do so. I definitely recommend doing that, bloody awesome how four munters from ( what sounds like ) a shitty part of Britain pretty much single handedly created a genre.
A definite contrast between the Ozzy days and the Dio days, comparing Apples and Oranges really but I reckon while Dio was a better singer Ozzy was a better frontman who was a part of more memorable songs. This live version is nothing short of fantastic…..

@mn5 me neither, I just love his voice in it.
It’s a goody but I really can’t stand any of their other stuff ( I think we had a thread for this )

@mn5 everything about the riff at 3:19 in this song fucking rules. It's so fucking good
It’s when an already awesome song becomes even better aye. Modern Rock bands owe Sabbath so much.

also Rage Against the Machine are amazing and if you don't agree then there is no hope for you

I hope people pay attention to this instead of the bombardment of Aerosmith shite that is invading this thread.

Just yesterday - I was watching the recording on Youtube of "RATM's first ever live performance" - October '91 - some shitty little festival, an audience of about 6 - eventually growing, but mostly just to watch the guy tripping out and dancing in front of the stage.
They had some pretty average songs in the set - but when they played the classics... sheeeit... the hairs go up on the back of one's neck. There's another one from only a year or so later - at some College... Claremont - 2.8.1992, or maybe it's the one at Berkeley - and they're pretty much the complete deal already. Imagine seeing RATM - playing what would go on to be a fucking CLASSIC album - at Orientation week?
(I see the debut album was released November 1992 - so yeah, it makes sense that at this point, they had the songs nailed)

@mn5 You type Begbie, all I see is
who I can't imagine is much of a singer
I bet he'd have a stab at it.
