Second half impressions:
I was wrong about Felcher Smith. He's a two-legged donkey at best. Isn't there an under 80kg competition?
Waikato should've won this easily, instead gifted 17 points to Canterbury. And Waikato scored 2 bullshit tries that shouldn’t have been awarded, Thanks to that little bald fluffybunny of a Ref,
I was happy with the adjudication of the last try. Which other(s) are you referring to?
The first try and the last try

How did Sam Darry go tonight?
Romano was 100% better.
Romano was a fucking beast.

Can't recall the first, but the ruling of tackle and no knock on for the last try was correct in my eyes.

We beg to differ, first try was due to a blatant tackle o n Drummond without the ball to create the gap around the ruck for the try.
Stone is a complete Fuckwit of a Ref. -

Agreed - big presence on defence. One of the things you expect from locks - using their frame. They just need to have a nasty mindset. The one thing my nephew who will be 2m and ~130kg doesn't have; he doesn't want to hurt people.

Stone is a complete Fuckwit of a Ref.Again, part of the tackle/ ruck, legally cleared out not too far and not for too long. Good refereeing IMO.

Shit refereeing in my opinion by a very very shithouse Ref

Surely there's a better option than Stowers in the Canterbury system?
With Cullum Grace out not much at 8 coming through
There were a couple going around in the 1st XV comp last year who looked promising. Unsure where they're at now but in a couple of years we could have better options.

Waikato should've won this easily, instead gifted 17 points to Canterbury.LOL. Waikato's first try came off a clear forward pass.
The poor work done by your poach 'Felcher' Smith (what do you know of his activities outside of rugby???) was countered by fellow poach Tucker.
-
One of the things watching end on is that you see the action from a different angle. Canterbury were guilty of cleaning out well away from the ruck so I wouldn't be pointing fingers. Stone also seemed to ignore players entering rucks from the side most of the night.

Good to hear mate George Methven ?? Maybe he is in the Crusaders Academy.

My poach? WTF are you on?

@tim na not yet. They (Blues) have signed Suafoa though from Harbour I think . Hes been playing 6 but can cover lock. He'd probably be more of a 'cover' type of signing though as opposed to a match day squad contender from the outset so they'll definitely be shopping for 2nd rowers as Jacob Pierce is off to Japan as well.
