@anonymous comedian thread is on the other forum...

    Sarcasm I am sure

Okay, I stand corrected with idiotic plays like that.

Used to seeing Manawatu give away a lot of soft tries, so more of an attempt at a reverse jinx

    Some major changes needed.

    • fit front row.
    • McNamara and Moemoedonu too passive.
    • midfield is start again territory
    • Coaching - given the talent available, this team is terrible

That cross kick on own goal line with a howling gale behind us has to be the worst of all possible options available.

Watched Waikato play last night and they were fantastic. Fit playing the game at speed. We should take cameras to their training runs and see what they do.

@kev I'd say I'm happy with 80% of the squad, but our tactics are poor...attitude and confidence is not right, causing players to make shit decisions, which is all a vicious circle

We are slipping off alot of tackles, ball security is poor, so many basic skills we know these guys have just aren't there.

Our scrum was pretty good bar 1 today.

Sure we have some bloody good players out at present, but several of the ones stepping in look woefully out of thier depth and the rest uncoached.

These coaches really need to sort this team or they need to leave.

Same, happy with most players in squad. The performance is just not there.

@tim our scrum was probably the only bright spot on our game if that tells you anything...wasnt massively prominent in the loose that I saw.

@kev yeah mate, makes you wonder what Dale Mcleod might have done with our squad which looks much stronger than Southland on paper if he'd been made head coach, especially with his eye for talent.
