It was, which made the early sampler/compilation album from the label ( Virginity) rather weird having Oldfield inserted among the tracks from the Sex Pistols, PiL, Skids, Magazine and XTC.

I’m really disappointed in myself that I haven’t already shared this.

Every member of Maiden is an absolute virtuoso at what they do and they still sound incredible live.

As for Midnight Cowboy well Faith no More of all people did a cover of that…..and we all love a bit of FNM.
