@mn5 We had a thing at work where we got people along for a "motivational speech" once a month and Rick drew the short straw one time. He was fucking hilarious. Nobody is more aware of his self-indulgent wankery than he is. It was honestly just a non-stop production line of calamities and bullshit from his career. I remember he said he had a roadie who would crouch down by his feet under the huge wall of keyboards and mix him drinks all night. He reckoned he had played on hundreds of artists' recordings over the years, usually for a beer or a curry or a few quid. Apparently he was in an early band with Marc Bolan.

No question what was on rotate in the car today on the way home from up north. Very hard to keep to the speed limit with this blaring away.
The interlude with the bit from You only live twice is amazing. Bloody hell that man wrote some brilliant scores.

@mn5 Did you check out the rest of the album? It’s called Shaken and Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project. John Barry liked it so much that he recommended Arnold as the composer of one of the Bond movies and he ended up doing four of them. The version of Thunderball by Martin Fry is great and Iggy Pop sings a remarkably good version of We Have All The Time In The World.
