@Rancid-Schnitzel enough already. It’s tiresome deleting stupid posts.
If you can’t be civil, don’t post.

Ok, I don't want to kick off any more shitfights, but I was actually pretty disappointed with this episode.
I'm actually interested in seeing the Boba story play out and this was an ok version of Mando. I didn't mind the spaceship building scenes, but the long exposition between the Mandolorians and the discussion about how they were the only three Mandolorians which culminated in two of them attempting to kill each other I found hard watching.
I look forward to Mando being part of the Boba story next week, but this was just a Mando story that I personally didn't need as I don't mind the Boba show and we're in the middle of the Boba season.

@nepia definitely concede with felt very out of place with the rest of BoBF, if they need that much set up to get Mando from where we left him to where they need him...maybe use one of the other plethora of bounty hunters in star wars canon as the muscle

Looks like I missed a shitfight, stink.
Speaking of shitfights though IMDB have confirmed Harrison Ford is starring in one episode, they’ll obviously do some de ageing like they did to Mark Hamill in Mando.
I can’t wait for him to reunite with Mr Fett !!!!!!

@mn5 seriously?!....maybe they can go some way to explaining how he ended up where he did
Thought he never wanted to be involved again, only did the sequels because they killed him off, either untrue or Filoni/ favreau have come up with a good enough story

I read a theory on why they had to put that ep in among BoBF.
Apparently there is usually a clue in the scripts when they are going to delve into pre-disney material and bring something forward.
The armourer mentioned 'legends' when talking about the prophecy 'the mythosaur' rising with the darksaber and explaining how it changes line if won through battle. The Mythosaur itself is apparently extinct but it is the symbol the armourer uses and, most of all, the symbol on Boba's armour.
Is Boba going to rise and take the mantle of Manda'lor? He did in the ;legends comics.
Apparently in the SW legends material the last 'true' holder of the darksaber. Tor Vizla was the last holder of his line but he was beaten by Jango Fett in combat making Jango the true holder (or rather his unaltered clone Boba). The other thing to note is the connection between the armourer and Maul. Note the horns on her helmet.
Anyway, Does Mando realise that Boba has rights to the darksaber because he picks it up and uses it in a fight with no problems?
Could be, and if so does that lead to a series for Bo Katan?
Edit: also just realised that Boba makes a big deal about wanting to ride the Rancor (symbolising the Mythosaur?)
If you think that because Mace Windu killed Jango he should be the owner remember that Jango didn't have the darksaber with him in that fight PLUS Boba is a full unaltered clone so not all of Jango is dead.

@crucial would that not mean mace windu is now the true holder having beaten Jango?
Boba hasn't wielded it yet has he?
Mace is dead

Answered above in edit
You need to win it by defeating the holder that is using it.

@mn5 ....is he?
so the emperor? i cant go back to the child of a holder just because a holder dies
I do hear what you’re saying but I’m sure we would have heard from him if he were alive in any shape or form.
( although he “only” got his hand cut off, electrocuted and fell a great distance…..other characters have survived worse than that )

@crucial claiming jango and boba are the same because he's an unaltered clone has to be a stretch
also, we're mixing non canon legends and canon, we know who had the darksaber after jango died, Clans recognised Bo Katan as holder after Jango had died, whether he had it or not in canon she was the holder until losing it to moff gideon so how
-
Here's the theory in full if you want to try and follow it.
Key line at the end is that the Darksaber knows who it's true owner is and as far as this theory goes that person is Jango/Boba.
Jango being the last person to fight against the saber and win. -

All explained. Neither Maul or Bo Katan were true holders. Bo Katan was given the sober by Sabine Wren.
I don't think the unaltered clone angle is a stretch at all. Same DNA.
