Rogan hosted views that could damage a lot of people.
Yes, Dick Cheney’s one-percent doctrine. “Could.”
I have no idea as to whether you are a terrestrial.

"Liberals" like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell have now become wannabe suppressors of free speech. Hilarious.
Nope. He can still talk. They're using their free rights to move their songs to another distributor.
Huh?
He wanted Rogan kicked off Spotify for Rogan hosting views contrary to the mainstream?
What a sad old man he has become.
Just a standard boring authoritarian trying to use his clout to bully others.
Neil Young, more like Neil Old.Rogan hosted views that could damage a lot of people.
Oh NO!!!
Some rockstar sang about drugs in a song.
Another rapper didn't respect women in his lyrics.
Another female popstar was singing about sex related topics in an explicit manner.
BAN THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I thought we wanted to ban Neil Young and Joni Mitchell because they didn't believe in free speech?

James Blunt is a considerably better comedian than he is a musician. Certainly not too late to change careers.
Careful, he might take you on in the internet memes section.

He’s a nobody in the world of memes compared to me

He’s a nobody in the world of reposting memes compared to me
Fixed

@victor-meldrew he was also on this podcast in November 21
Clapton must have great time management skills to appear on a podcast. I thought he’d be tied up with going through JJ Cales back catalogue looking for more boring songs to steal, suing fans and fooling people into thinking he’s a guitar legend

I actually don't listen to podcasts. Never really had the desire to listen to other people speak / share their views for any longer time than your average TV interview of 5-10 mins. I've made two exceptions for this
I don't mind the concept, but finding the time is the problem, as someone who has had a commute < 30 minutes for the last 15ish years.

Great thing about Joe Rogan, he's weeding out the idiots from Spotify.
One of the people trying to get him kicked off Spotify is implying he's racist.I don't think it should be happening, but if they continue to lose artists (CSNY is common background music in the gt12 house), I'll cancel my subscription - I'm not paying for a service that doesn't have a reasonably 'full' catalogue of music.

Fixed again.

Some of the artists are complaining about how much Rogan gets paid compared to them rather than what his content is, but the media is lumping them all together as taking a stand against "misinformation"

That's the thing.
All Rogan has to do is appease those that will stay on Spotify. It doesn't matter what he says but if it creates less $$ for Spotify then he has to go.
He's free to speak what he likes so long as it makes them money. That's the freedom he contracted himself too (most likely)

He's been outspoken about having no restrictions on his contract with spotify. He's been paid, and if they do boot him off he'll just go back to the old distribution and get the all followers he lost going to spotify back. He's basically scrooge mcDuck swimming in gold at this point, no fucks to give.
His audience is so much larger that the news networks, even most entertainment shows on normal TV, all that's happening is more people now know Rogan has a podcast and some people don't like it.
If Taylor Swift took her music off theymight have a problem, but Neil Young. Not an issue.

Totally agree!! I guess I was poor in saying that all he has to do is keep Spotify happy if he wants to stay on Spoitify

@hooroo yeah, and it's been amusing because some of the younger staff on Spotify have desperately been trying to get him off the platform and the upper levels have been ignoring them.
So far both Spotify and Rogan have been handling this well. Will see if they stick it out.
Just need the next cancelling campaign to kick off and suck out this one's oxygen. Thanks Whoopi!
