@machpants Mafileo? He is a big unit.
He's got quality moobs, whoever he is. Commentator is such and improvement over Laban etc, who is it?
I think I'd find him a lot more bearable if he did a little more work on getting some of the more obscure names correct. Particular with some of the Pacific Island names it seems like he is randomly picking vowels (e.g. Nanai-Setoru instead of Seturo). Moses Dawai instead of Mosese. Lalamio instead of Lalamilo.
I can understand a casual observer making these mistakes, but if you're a commentator you should have a good understanding of the players, and how to say their names.

The depth in the Blues is a big step down from the starting 23 isn't it?

Real lack of cohesion in the blues.

Just watched and I think Ioane and Lowe made big ground over Gatland and ENS. Still wonder about Kaylum Boshier as a 7.
I liked the way Roe set up his backline. I just don't think the Gatland & Ratima combo works that well.
Frustrating number of penalties given away. Liked the work of Selby Rickett and of T Telea.

Gee 2 passes and advantage usually over.

I think it will be ENS and Lowe on the wings.

He wasn't getting much protection at the back of the ruck at times. McMillan kept the same halfback-1st 5 combos across both pre-season games. We never saw Ratima and Ioane.
