Seems the answer was “not long at all”How many years has Eddie had a makeshift centre combo while hoping for a long run from Manu?

Not just Eddie either. Both Johnson and Lancaster would move heaven and earth to fit him in. I read today that since his debut he has missed 80 tests through injury. But still is more or less the first name on the team sheet.

I guess when you award an illegal overstayer citizenship specifically so they can play for your rugby team then if he's available he has to play.
