Crusaders might rue this when points difference comes into effect at the end of the comp.

Moana Pacifica are New Zealand's Western Force.

don’t think so with 8 games in a row they got to rest most of their 23 for the next 5 in a row.

Not sure putting all your donkeys on the field together is the best approach, but I'm not paid to make those decisions.

    Good effort by MP.
Bonus point for the Crusaders playing some guys that will not play again this season.

Put the top team together for next week after a break ready to tack the Chiefs.
    Good enough.

Some of the front liners looked pretty arse tho, bridge leading that charge

With LF Reece and Jordan back he might not be a front liner.

I thought that was a decent first match for a new side after a terrible preseason and having to sit out two rounds.

The opportunity to have time practicing can sometimes pay off; see Argentina ambushing the All Blacks...

Hard to forget years of mediocrity from the former greatest team in the world

Fihaki - seems to lack acceleration to go with his supposed top end speed. Not convinced by him yet.

Williams - I have no idea about his scrummaging but the maul, both attack and defence, seems to improve when he is on the park.

Bouns point win, ugly with a lot of dirt trackers playing.
I can sit back and watch the other 4 Kiwi teams bash each other up,and hope to get through the Rd with no injuries.

Upset somewhere tomorrow. Chiefs or Highlanders to get a win I am picking.

Yeah Fihaki was disappointing for me.
Williams scrums well for a 21 year old.He doesn't get dominated, very rare he has been.He will only get better and better as he hardens up.

Dom Gardner has been very good for a 21 year old first game.

Yeah - showed some urgency and had some impact. One of the few that caught my eye.

Naholo was a mixed bag, but showed promise.

Crusaders get home comfortably, but mainly on the back of a dominant scrum.

All good bonus point and rested a lot of our 23,Re set next week,
Naholo did look promising he made a few mistakes but he will get better.

Gardner hasn't even played a NPC game yet,He will get a lot better with more chances.

Mcleod,Punivai,Finau,Hickey,TTT,I would be happy to drop them off next season.

I'm not sure how either of those are upsets, last year canes were bottom and chiefs were equal points to blues in SRA
