@kiwimurph Saders missing Ennor and Moody though. Could be quite telling.
Good to see the Chiefs spreading it around with a big opportunity for several fringe players. Hope we can see Wrampling soon and on the wing.

    And Whitelock

Less chances for the Chiefs to scrum after knock ons.

Looking forward to this. Bit miffed that the Cheifs get a home crowd whilst our home dump was almost empty. It's the motivation of revenge vs home advantage for mine.

    The Chiefs have 7

7? I don't follow rugby as close as I use to but isn't it only 6

The Chiefs haven't played at home since May last year against the Brumbies. All the other NZ teams have at least done that since then, even if in front of no crowd.

Not sure that you need to be a mindreader to expect Ennor to shell a catch running onto the ball. Averages at least one per game.
Moody doesn't have the safest hands in contact either.

@mariner4life let’s add 3 new teams and let the Saffa teams go north to shake things up and “reinvigorate” the comp, just so we can have yet another NPC match with a few slightly better players.

    Super rugby yay….

Tickets went in sale earlier than 9 so grabbed mine before the rush. Stoked as fuck. Chiefs by a million.

I rarely bet against a Crusaders win. But this looks a fairly even match up. What's Brewis like. Maybe the Crusaders backs won't have a dominating forward pack this game

Chiefs will be looking to dominate up front first and foremost. They know they can do it.

It will be interesting to see how Robertson counters the Chiefs tactic of keeping the ball away from Jordan and the back three (or at least not giving them time with it).

A freebie for me in lieu of the "home game" played in Queenstown.

The Chiefs also exposed the lack of variety in the loosies late in that game. The quick return match is an interesting challenge for Robertson

The turnaround makes it like a test series for the coaches with tactics and counters.

I know it's not deliberate (this draw is a covid contingency, cancelled matches etc) but I like the different pressure this adds for the team that lost the first match

I'm not sure if they still do it, but the Heineken Cup used to have rounds either side of xmas with the same teams playing each other. Which team played at home was all that changed. The return matches had extra story lines and were often more intense. It only sucked if the first game was a blowout

Young. NPC level unless he's improved a lot since the NPC.

I would have signed Sam Matenga instead of him, but Razor likes Cantabs.

I agree with those who like the quick re-match.
