    Great reffing

Merhts made a good point that while it was def. the right decision, the Chiefs feeling it should have been a card was understandable because of reffing inconsistency.

Why is the Reds halfback allowed to put his foot into the scrum to get the ball?

Why not? What law are you saying that's breaking?

He's not within the scrum so he isn't allowed to ball the ball with his feet.

24 Any player within the scrum may play the ball but only with their feet or lower legs and they must not lift the ball. Sanction: Penalty.

That law does not say that someone not in the scrum cannot play the ball with their feet.

That law does not say that someone not in the scrum cannot play the ball with their feet.

There's also no law that explicitly says the halfback can't join the scrum and start pushing. So you're saying that's legal too?

    Ahhhhhhhhhhh Gatland is shit

    This

    Can kick goals though.

But think I prefer a 1st 5/8 who controls the game.

    Some weak kicks early on.

    What's Trask up to?

I believe there is a law that bans that.

However that is beside the point. I don't know of any reason why a halfback can't play the ball with his feet in the scrum, so long as he is onside.

Chiefs seem to be struggling with the ball in thaws conditions. BOM says itS still 21 degrees in Brisvegas

The law specifies which players are part of a scrum and it doesn't include the halfback:

Mate of mine just told me it's humid as fuck over there right now. He's at the game. He's actually a former Chiefs players brother.
