6 forwards on the bench. No surprise how the Brumbies are going to play.

I doubt the bookies will be paying much for a try to Fainga’a

That’s a pretty good line up, I’ve got this as the closest match

Yeah good side, did Chase get dropped from the 23 altogether?

I would have started Narawa at 15. He's been far better at fullback than Trask.

Trask is a coach favourite when fit. He'll be tested under the high ball.

Maybe Narawa isn't ready to play a full 80 mins?

Must admit I a bit of a Trask fan, maybe only because I have seen him more than Narawa, who has looked pretty ok when I have seen him play. I wonder if Trask not got a little better boot for relieving pressure?

There was a rumour that his contract with the Chiefs has a very long duration. If correct, they've a long term bet on him.. so they'll give him every chance to improve

@Dan54 Trask is a 1st 5 playing at fullback so should have a better kick than Narawa. He hasn't played in a while though.

As someone with an innate hatred anything from Of Plenty I don't understand why so many Chiefs fans are down on Trask. I've always found him a decent player.

from what i have seen of the Brumbies, the Chiefs KPIs this week are:

    Limit your penalties
    Attack the scrum
Patient in defence (they'll kick it back to you quickly if so)
hit the wide channels (and catch the frikken ball)
back up your linebreaks, the Brumbies scramble really fucking well.

Simple. Bop supporters have seen him appear shy at the contact for some time as if he is protecting a shoulder. There clearly was an injury but he needs to remove the doubts. He burst on the scene full of confidence before that became noticeable and needs to show he has regained it.

That Chiefs pack has 6/8 2021 ABs and arguably the rest as 'in the frame" as well as, quite possibly, the future "spine" of the AB lineout (hooker, locks). It will be very interesting to see how they go against the Brumbies.

Protecting a few injuries including the glass jaw. I agree about needing to refind his initial confidence, if that Kaleb turns up then we would be more optimistic. I suspect he will need more game time personally before we see that.

The other feature of the reserves is that Moli is back to being a TH, whereas all of his earlier games off the bench were at LH. A big test against Sio in the scrum.

Where he should be if we want to see the best of him (I hope).

    Sio is playing fucking well.

With Norris back Moli will play at TH, particularly as Mafileo is confirmed to be gone for the season. It's usually been Slipper off the bench for the Brumbies, and he is a better scrummager than Sio. Ta'avao needs to front up too.

Keep up. Case was thrown out because the ref was being a cock and was very wrong.
