@Bones FFS, don't be such a bitch. It's as simple as the halfback telling the prop to push into the ruck and leave the ball to him.

But was mentioned he was at the bottom of a ruck, and some one else needed to take it. Ofa did then froze like a rabbit in the headlights. That wasn't nock fault

This games was a black mark against Eklund. Hopefully Vikena’s throwing improves quickly. The rest of his game is good.

Tuipulotu would have been useful. Despite his average test form his Blues form was always strong

Great tactical coaching by Razor , change the point of attack multiple times,Read the blues line out.
Pleasing to see some ABs stand up who were selected .
But a worry some others did not stand up under pressure.
On to the test season,Heads up Blues supporters your team has come a long way and will only get better.
    Now to get fucking pissed.

Blues continued on in this game with the same deer in the headlights look about them

    I don't get what you're saying.

How long has Ofa been around, you're saying he doesn't know what to do at a ruck without being told? Or that Nock told him to pick and go and he didn't know how?

@Bones He's a dumb prop, he does dumb things sometimes. If Nock was there at the ruck he could have yelled at him to leave the ball for him.

He fucked up like I've never seen before! I'm pretty stunned it would be blamed on the halfback.

For me this is a McDonald choke. The Blues game is running. Aimless kicking from Christie and BB, and a lineout that fell apart. He has the best props, and loose forwards in the game ( useful locks ) and they were owned not just this game but the last 40 mins against the Brumbies. Wrong game plan, poor attention to detail, and use of bench.

Needs to coach overseas, that's what really makes a coach top level

To give Ronald an excuse; you wouldn't expect to lose so much possession. And I'd be loathe to remove a halfback having such a stinker if Nock was the option too.

The two 21 year old Crusaders went pretty well.

Nothing wrong with Nock. Not using the bench is stupid. He backed himself into a corner. It almost cost them the game last week. It was a contributing factor to the loss tonight.

Ireland have named a pretty strong squad, and a decent scrummaging unit. At least we may get an insight as to what they will bring with the MABs first up on the 29th. Lets hope Fozzie is watching.

@Duluth the problem with Tuipulotu , he’s not a line-out option …for me the biggest disappointment was there was no change of tactics to go to short lineouts , 2 or 4 man lineouts , first long throw did not come until the 60th minute .
We kept going to full lineouts , and the Crusaders kept putting pressure on Eklund.
The Crusaders had so many lineout options , Grace is the number 1 on opposition ball .
The passing from the Blues was woeful, for me the Blues need far more work out of their props , if you think about how all the Crusaders props performed , they were awesome .
Too many of the Blues All Blacks did not front .
