The stand out song on a wonderful night of singing at the Principality Stadium on Saturday
Sir Tom Jones
Cwmbach Male Voice Choir (my Dad’s choir) singing ‘We’ll Keep A Welcome in the Hillside’ and our National Anthem ‘Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau’
Stereophonics with a 2hr tour de force

@MiketheSnow looks like it was an awesome night. Last time I saw the Stereophonics play was as second support to Paul Weller at a Teenage Cancer Trust gig at Royal Albert Hall and most of the crowd was still at the bar. I think they had had some time off playing and were just starting up again. Anyway I assume you were singing along to this one. …

I don't mind the Stereophonics but I've never really thought of them to be gig enough to be a stadium band.
Yet, they seem to be (in Wales anyway). I saw them at same stadium in late 2003 (I think). Was brilliant.

Watching Paul McCartney at Glastonbury.
80 years old.
Absolutely incredible. Some people are just born extra special. He’s defo an all time legend.
I'm jealous as fuck.
Watching the video on iPlayer and see why some of the reviews have called it an historic cultural event. You sense the people there will be talking about it for decades. Loved that he played some of his lesser-known gems like "Feel like Letting Go"

I was watching on TV too ….
Thought “Something” was stunning. Crowd singing it was spine tingling.

Oh, I thought you might have glamping at Glastonbury.

@MN5 TBF both pretty shit lyrics
I had to google Friday - not my sort of thing but there is a tradition of songs about the weekend and this clearly fits in with things like Friday on My Mind, TGIF, Friday I'm in Love.
This just being the latest.
Plus those aren't even the correct lyrics

The lyrics for Kashmir are complete wank…….then again lots of lyrics are when you see them written down.
But it’s still one of THE best songs ever so fuck it.
