Dexys other number one was the posted “Geno”. Was massively well known when I was a teen among anyone that followed the UK scene at the time. Many many years later I even went to a Geno Washington gig in Putney on the basis of that Dexys song alone.
I won’t claim to like the Proclaimers that much but again only a one hit wonder at a very superficial level. A whole musical/movie was created with their songs and then there’s this…

@MajorRage Saw her in concert at Kew Gardens a few years back and most of her stuff was pretty yawn (even if well sung). Seems to work really real well in combo with others like the one you posted though. Another example is this Stevie Wonder number.
