    I'm at depression already.

    denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance

I'm in anger. I do not want to go further.

I went to bed angry and woke up realising that with no way to change anything it would be healthier to just be resigned to my worst fears and suspicions. NZR have cemented themselves to this train wreck and I've no doubt there'd be some phone calls going on this morning as they dither between two courses of action. Neither of them palatable as they'd rightly look like incompetents.

Everything Foster's worst detractors said in 2019 has come to pass.

@nzzp I was at that after the 3rd Irish test.

I have bailed early in 2 tests this year, I didn't watch more than the scoring highlights of the 2 SA tests, or the NH games from eoyt last year...even Mrs TR last night asked if the game was finished when I came out of my room where I had been watching.

I was like, nah, I just don't enjoy watching AB rugby at moment...I am however looking forward to watching some afternoon NPC today.

Despite NZR's best efforts, teh NPC feels like it's going from strength to strength. The quality is ridiculous for a small country with so many teams - but genuinely good games all the time. We're just wasting what comes out in terms of coaching and talent

I have been about as anti-Foster as anyone on the Fern. Even the good wins didn't move me, because I knew it wouldn't last.

But I didn't predict this train wreck, no matter how much I dislike him. I still assumed he had some semblance of ability, if only from experience. I was certain the ABs would beat Argentina, and even suspected we would look good doing so.

He's been far worse than I, or anyone else that I can think of, predicted.

I'd love him to try and teach BB and RM how to be an actual fucking first five at test level

@Stargazer yeah I pointed that out on another of the many threads discussing all this, think McCaw is speaking with the BF too.

I see more comments around player indisipline and decisions cant be put on Foster.

I disagree, these aspects of how a team play are born in the team culture.

Indisipline is from the frustration of how things are going and when things are not working.

I think Codie Taylor epitomises everything that is wrong in this team.

He is in probably the very worst form of his career, yet he keeps getting plenty of game time...where is the accountability for poor form/indisipline? There isnt any, and this has a ripple effect through everything that goes on, if there are no consequences for doing things poorly, why would you improve?

Those on the fringes see this lack of performance being rewarded, so what is going to make them strive for excellence?

So here we are again, IMO this all comes back round to Fozzie, and to a lesser extent Cane, thier leadership and the culture of averageness they seem to be accepting of, is ok because they are trying really hard.

I was at Eden Park when the worst AB coach of all time, Mains, lost in 1994. We will lose to Australia this year, unless we get rid of these fucking losers.

I am taking the family to that game. Last one we went to was when Clarke ripped the Aussies a new one, was a great afternoon.

My wife, who is indigenous Australian, is a rather vocal Wallabies fan. I've had a lot of fun the past 10 or so years giving her grief, but I am really worried that when the final whistle blows she is going to be returning that 10 fold. Fucking Foster is going to end my marriage as well as the ABs.

Seriously though, after what transpired last week, unless Fozzie walks, there is zero chance he leaves, and lets just say he did leave or they did sack him, who would want to take this on right now?

    @taniwharugby

A chance to coach the All Blacks? Loads of people would take it. Leon McDonald, say, or Clayton McMillan. They would have to wait decades to see their next chance.

It's so bad now that most halfway qualified coaches would be a step up.

Sure it would be a gamble, but I would rather see that than an inevitable decline further.
