So, we will win the game if we do a bit of this apparently. Must get the message to the coaches immediately.

Hopefully our forwards will be too busy to fall in love.

I heard that Eben was triggered by Alaalatoa asking if he even lifted.

This Thursday night game feels really weird. Like, I'm at work and not really hyping for it. It's like it's just going to sneak up on me tonight.

I'm at work 20 minutes from the ground and fizzing / counting the clock.

I’m a 5 minute tram ride from the stadium and despite a grey typical Melbourne day, there’s quite a few people out and about. I’ve seen a few people wearing AB and Wallaby jersey’s and scarfs.

Well... it's all well and good for you folk in the canary-yellow timezone(s).
Here - sitting at work, stalling, trying to figure out how to not be already plastered by a 9:45 kick-off (probably actually 10pm - cause Australia)
And if any fluffybunny suggests "self-control" - well... fuck ya. That's not one of my things.
Drinking is one of my things. And all of my other things are done accompanied by drinking.
Except motorbike riding - but I'm not going for a goddamn motorbike ride on a Wellington September evening.

Fuck it - I'm going to the pub to sit and think about this.

Of course the Haka is an advantage. It's a literal war dance. They did that shit before war for a reason.

    Deal with it.

@Derpus you bore every team to death with the 5 minute long welcome to country land acknowledgement stuff.

Your players must be far more used to enduring that stuff than foreign teams. You have your own advantage.

Imagine being an international forward and putting your hand up to say " yeah, the opposition dancing and yelling at me before kick-off really psyches me out, I very much wish they would desist".

    The backs I can understand

Based on @Duluth 's challenge in the other thread

Tonight is an interesting indication on if the ABs have really learned things in their last 3 games. One one hand did they note what made us good in the two wins? But most importantly, what made us so very ordinary in the loss?

I expect the ABs to win, and win well. But then i feel like i always think that.

But the Wallabies aren't so shit that if we go away from the tough forward stuff, stand fucking shallow, and go side to side, and our attitude isn't there, they can't tip us over.

A solid pragmatic performance will net a double digit win. A good performance will net a 20-pointer

Getting tipped over by this Wallaby team missing that many good players would be the worst result of the comp so far. Yes, even more than that fucking Argentina performance.
