I thought Retallick was having a good-ish game before the RC.

Reece was industrious and actually looked threatening. That sequence near the end wasn’t great though.

Clarke also looked threatening and scored a nice try. But his hands and feet let him down.

    Sami’s worst game in black.

We got a bit from the bench which was good to see.

As for picking 3, yeah nah.

Made a lot of mistakes, kick chasing was very poor, caught out of position on defence. Scored one very nice try. Not a good performance. Among a few others with that!

I'm voting for Dalton, that's it. And with hair like that he must've played awesome for me to consider giving him a vote

Thought Cane was very good and Sotutu kept himself busy. Awful skills from the backs tonight though.

Went with Sotutu, Cane, and Papalii because (a) they looked interested in tackling, and (b) the the backline did not look interested in tackling or working hard off the ball, and they generally played like shite.

Sotutu might have looked interested in tackling unfortunately he didn’t. What was it, one tackle for the match?

Agree the backline was rubbish. Both Christie and Mo’unga were top of that pile

    Christie

Back to fucking around at the ruck. Seems better suited as a replacement.

    Papali'i, Clarke, Vaa'i.

The last two weren't error free by any means, but they were keen and industrious.

I'm going to have to force myself to do a rewatch because I don't remember Dalton standing out from the pack, even with that haircut but he seems to be getting the love.

I see Mo's parents are members of the Fern.

I thought Paps was excellent, but not on long enough to get MOTM mention.

    Surely no-one voted for Mo'unga???
