I find these 'gotcha' interviews of professional athletes very strange.

She's a c u n t. She is the worst thing about watching British rugby and yet somehow just keeps on keeping on. Better longevity than Foster.

100%. She needs a verbal slap-down or three. Just comes across as an arrogant smart-arse

Knows fucking zero about rugby too, I really can't fathom what audience she is there for or what she's supposed to add.

Most cringe post-match interview since Ian Smith called Thierry Dussatoir, Thierry Henry?

Cheika is coming across really well in this interview.

I'd happily share a glass of tabouli with him.

Fuck knows. Appeals to the soft, virtue-signalling rugby followers, probably. Likes to complain of "toxic abuse!" when criticised as well.

Smith and Farrell is a contradiction in terms.

What's wrong with Eddie? He doesn't really seem all there to me. Drunk or ill?

Received a dinner invite from Sonja McLaughlan, probably.

Haven't heard either as a rumour. I have heard relations between him and some of the RFU hierarchy aren't great.

Can't help but think Argentina just made the ABs job a whole lot harder for the second time this year.

Yep, Eddie's going to be tearing into those England players for the next 13 days.

@sparky Will he though? He seemed a little detached and not as fiery as I have seen him in the past. Used to give the interviewers as good as they gave out, with a few well placed laconic insights. This time he seemed old and out of touch. Plus the England players seem arrogant and inclined to believe their own hype these days.

We’ll done Argies, played more rugby with less ball, showed intent and intelligence. A great try too.

England? Well, not entirely unexpected but disappointing nonetheless. A somewhat leaden performance was likely given a lack of balance in the back row and midfield, no pace anywhere in the back line and blokes playing out of position. But the lack of composure and discipline is unforgivable.

@Jailbreak7 I'd write wily old Eddie off at your peril. As cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of cunning.

Just watched the post match interviews

Eddie had a day up North this week with Cheika and the Lebanese Rugby League team

He obviously didn’t take any notice or notes

Just finished the Tonga v Samoa match from this afternoon

Light years ahead in skills and attacking intent in similarly shit conditions

Puts AB loss to Argentina into perspective a bit.
Farrell was a bit of a dick with his attempt to con the ref.
Nice to see England's new approach. Use Tuilagi and the Vunipola brothers to hit it up and Itoje to lie all over the ball and disrupt while Farrell accumulates penalties and Youngs keeps it conservative and safe.
Coles and Van Poortvliet look like good adds so maybe Jones will move on.
Really pleased for Argentina. Boffelli has had quite a year.
