well....he's successfully convinced me to see the film just so i can understand how that can possibly fit into any story
he seems like an unusual guy...very sometimes....but he does know how to make a film i enjoy
I would like to know more about one comment, 30 jumps in one day, that seems insane, assuming all during daylight thats multiple jumps an hour which seems hard to imagine

Yeah, the Mission films actually annoy me as they never do just a mission, it's always them against their evil bosses/agency etc. I just want an old school Mission Impossible movie where they have a mission and do it and no one double crosses anyone.
But like you I will watch to see Cruise's crazy stunts.

they say that was the first day of principle photography, i assume thats because if it goes wrong they dont want to have wasted however many months filming other stuff? that would make sense but also mad that was even a likely enough possability

I guess they learned from the six month shutdown where he broke his ankle? Planning around injury is pretty crazy.

French man sparks hospital evacuation with WWI bomb in his rectum
The unnamed senior citizen arrived at the Hospital Sainte Musse in Toulon, southern France on Saturday evening in the hope of having the artillery shell dislodged from his anus.
It is understood that the man had inserted it in his bottom for sexual pleasure.
A spokesperson for Hospital Sainte Musse said: 'An emergency occurred from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday evening that required the intervention of bomb disposal personnel, the evacuation of adult and pediatric emergencies as well as the diversion of incoming emergencies.'
The spokesperson added: 'We had to manage the risk in a reactive framework. When in doubt, we took all the precautions.'
Despite doctors being understandably fearful for their safety if they were to surgically remove the object, detonation experts were able to put them at ease.
It emerged that the bomb was a collectors item from the First World War and was a commonly used explosive by the French military in the early 1900s.
