The Italian 15 is a class attacking threat. Christiano Culleno.

Both these teams are going to be in the same RWC group as the ABs later this year.

Italy with a lot of ball inside the French 22 just before half time. Good French defence until they give away a penalty. Easy kick good.

Italy 14 France 19 at the drinks.

Italians showing better individual skills than England yesterday. Certainly in their handling.

They look dangerous when they get into the groove. Huge improvement from a year or two ago. Great game to watch - pity about the commentary...

They have to stop trying to run it out of their 22 though. Who do they think they are? NZ under Foster?

Just watched unawarded Italian penalty at goal three times in slow motion. Absolutely no doubt it was over. What the hell are the touchies doing?

France were poor and nearly paid for it.

If Italy had a clas 9-10 they would cause even more problems

French very often lack motivation against Italy, for some reason.
Used to be same against Romania.

Excellent game and Italy so close to ruining the France campaign.
You do have to wonder though if this is a sign that the old France traits of not always switching on are still relevant.
Italy 13 a strong runner and sizeable looking unit.

Under 20 games have been excellent as well
Watched the Ireland v Wales game , the first five for Ireland Sam Prendergast is going to be a star , looked like Johnny Sexton right now now but with so many more strings to his bow
Looks like he could play International rugby right now
Is very big for a first five listed at 6’4 91kgs has already played for the Leinster top side .

Just watched the replay. Great game and Italy so close! French ill-discipline was terrible.

Italy could cause a few problems during the Six Nations, and also the RWC. Underestimating them will be seriously dangerous, because they now have a well-coached team that will punish anyone who does.

Going by what I've seen of the U20 game, Italy also have some talent for the future.
