@Victor-Meldrew Reminds me of the book by Sir Bob Jones called Letters (or something like that) where he was never afraid to detail exactly what he thought about things in letters to various correspondents!

Yesterday, in my "6-month Check-In" (ie: bullshit not-quite-performance review):
I had the subject "What can your manager do to assist you in your job?"
One of my bullet points:
"They could confirm whether there is any future in a career at [company-name]"- with multiple bullet points as to possible methods they could do so (or rather - methods they'd proven the answer to be 'no'"
- eg: are you going to pay me more? Are you going to give me any of the training/certifications that you promised, which would help me fuck off and get paid more elsewhere? would you at least "rank" me at my actual level, rather than alongside imbeciles?
I fucking love writing letters with no-fucks-given. And when a corporate-environment not only gives me the opportunity, but FORCES me to do so... by fuck, they are going to get some helpful info.

I once worked with a retired Royal Marines WO who didn't pull his punches - he once summed up an interviewee with the immortal line "A village somewhere is missing its idiot"
