    @mariner4life Ryan putting out a bit of misinformation that maybe an opposition coach might be sucked into believing and reacting to?

    Ethan will be a big openside if they play him there - 10kgs heavier than Richie McCaw!

    .. but astoundingly it turns out he's now the same size as Dwayne Vermeulen, one of the bigger loose forwards getting around. He's also like 10kg heavier than every other loose forward as well.

    I'm sure Dalton is 10kg or more lighter than 118kg. Not. And Finau is around 115? Big lad.

    It will be funny if Paps gets injured as well and then Ta$man Jesus becomes our openside and his weight drops back down to 108kg.

    @Kiwiwomble

    You are under estimating the technical ability of 2 years olds these days.You can search for older material to post.

    That's not happening - turns out Ethan's quite a bit bigger than Ryan thought!

    It could have been a random search and it came up.

    OK - maybe this belongs in the Forster's Firsts thread, but...

    Half-baked theory #223

    Fozzie actually did something pretty smart.

    He picked Emoni Narawa knowing full well that he was never going to be fit to play at the RWC.

    Consequently, Emoni became a bit like a blank tile in Scrabble. He could be traded at a moment's notice for any player in NZ that Foster might need.

    In the meantime the likes of Blackadder and Moody got some NPC gametime and Fozzie got to see how the field unfolded.

    As it happens, they've used him for Ethan Blackadder, but with de Groot's red card, maybe they should have used him for Moody.

    Anyway, it's quite a smart plan (which provides a logical explanation for the seeming idiocy of five wings) and even if it wasn't a plan it's one we should bank for future reference.

    @Chris-B

    You are giving a lot of credit to Foster his track record points to a complete fluke if it works out.

    @Chris Maybe it was Ryan or Schmidt who came up with the plan - Fozzie only had to realise it was a good one!

    I compare it to the broken clock analogy.

    This is also applicable to my posts when I get things right.

    @Chris It spoils the joke, but I like to think they're not as dumb as we pretend to think they are! 🙂

    Didnt they say Emoni had been training well the week prior to reaggravating the injury and being ruled out?

    I've seen a few articles on Roigard replacing Smith

    Foster would never do this so maybe the better player isn't in contention. No matter how good

    Anyone genuinely suggesting that Roigard should supplant Smith and start any game at this RWC against opposition not called Uruguay should be booted off the Fern forever
