New Breaking Bad coming soon. Can't wait.
Excellent.<br />
<br />
Have been watching odd episodes of The Mentalist to pass the time, which is quite entertaining at times, pretty light-hearted.<br />
<br />
Has anyone seen Flashforward? I watched the first 10 episodes of Series 1 and quite enjoyed it. Decided to buy the book......nothing like the TV series at all, apart from being based on the same basic premise and having one or two characters of the same name. -
For me and the other guy still following Lost, due to start next Wednesday @ 2130, woo-f@ckin-hoo, last series! <br />
<br />
<br />
I l-o-v-e LOST..!<br />
<br />
Last season had me sitting on the edge of my seat and I believe this, the final season, gets even darker (so is bound to have me biting my nails) <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> -

How about a "Draper's 11" spin off movie from Mad Men. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

I thinkThe Mentalist' is one of the best shows on at the moment. Lighthearted (love the deadpan-Korean guy) but has that darker storyline woven through it. I believe
Red John' features a bit more in other series. I'm definately looking forward to its return. I think Simon Baker (Aussie actor) is cool too. I liked him inThe Guardian' as well.<br /> <br /> <br />
Has anyone seen Flashforward? I watched the first 10 episodes of Series 1 and quite enjoyed it. I love Sci Fi. <br /> <br /> Is the book called
FlashForward'? I ask because often a television series will say based on the novel such-and-such by whoever. -
I wonder if the Jesse Pinkman character will have much of a role in it - provided some excellent comic relief at times.
Gonna be interesting to see where it goes. Jesse used to wind me up something chronic with his ability to fuck shit up all the time. His missus was hot though.

Tim you underestimate the kiwi psyche.<br />
<br />
Your signature says "If you really believe in an impending alien invasion, you don’t spend most of the day watching “Three’s Company†reruns, hit Burger King, then go online and chat about the how the alien invasion has already begun for 45 minutes before a peaceful nights sleep."<br />
<br />
To be honest I think the only change I'd make is I'd have watchedThird Rock From The Sun' reruns. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /><br /> <br /> Which reminds me. Did anyone watch
The Visitors' orDay of the Triffads'?<br /> <br /> I remember the originals (but I think
The Visitors' was called `V' back in the 1980s. The 80s version, I hate to say, was much better. <br />
<br />
I thought the recent television version of DOTT was pathetic. How can anyone make such a hash of such a classic? -

<br />
Starts this coming week, as does Lost.<br />
<br />
Thanks for the heads up on Fiennes character.<br />
<br />
I hate to say it but I thought the character Horatio Kaine was so badly acted that I found I HAD to watch CSI Miami each week to get my fix. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> -

Yo! She was pretty much the perfect gothy model-actress-whatever. -

isnt that flash forward soemthing to do with the Lost team? I steer clear of anything that uses Lost as a reason to watch it! <br />
<br />
Yeah I like the Mentalist too, as you say, light hearted but with the darker story running trhough, and for the most part, most of how he solves things is explainable, not merely just he thinks it, and basically outwits them to get the answer.<br />
<br />
As for Horatio Caine...the looks, the turn of the shoulder to look into the distance while explaining to someone they are busted....oh, and the Hummer for the Police vehicles? C'mon!! <br />
<br />
***Spoiler <br />
<br />
Tim; on Dexter, yeah I think the whole family thing is what has ruined it IMO, deviates his character away from what made him. Given his meticulous attention to detail, seeing him make all these elementary errors detracts form the show, so while ridding the show of one of the reasons he has been distracted, while appropriate, seemed pointless.<br />
<br />
Will still watch it if another series is made, as I still like it, but not with the enthusiasm I used to.
