Really sad news. Thoughts and prayers with him his friends, his family and the medical staff who'll be caring for and supporting Christian.

Everyone knows someone who's got cancer these days, it's a horrible slow killer. I hope he can pull through, his life will be bigger than any onfield challenge and I wish him and his well

    1. Poor young bugger. Leukaemia seems like a bitch. Young second cousin of mine died of it aged about 10.

Best of luck Christian.

Thoughts and prayers.

Man that sucks. Super fit young guy in the prime of his career and just became a Dad earlier in the year. Cancer really doesn't discriminate. Thoughts with him and his family, hopefully they've found it early.

Very sad to hear about Lealiifano. Horrible disease. I have a friend and a colleague who've had it (and survived, for now). It's a very tough battle. I wish him all the best. Good to see the rugby world is supporting him; I hope they'll continue to do so.

He sure did. Played mainly at fullback from what I remember.

Met him a few times in Canberra and a genuinely nice fella. Very down to earth and positive and liked to have a laugh. Wish him well with the treatment

In 2010, he played mainly at 2nd 5. His connection with Waikato was through Jack Lam, one of his best friends.

Almost a year after his diagnosis with leukaemia, Lealiifano will be playing Super Rugby again. Really pleased to see he's doing so well that he can already make his comeback this season!

Lealiifano set to return to action
